    Hi all

I was wondering if you could help me with something. I am thinking about targeting a town with my services and so thought about creating a seperate page on my website with a sub domain which looks like this....

    servicetown.domain.com

Would this sub page rank on Google as being part of the main domain/website or would it rank as a seperate website?

    Thanks

    Michelle

Search Engine rank results as pages. Hence, all your pages will be ranked separately =)

They will be treated as separate website. They will not get both trust nor PR leaked neither form root domain anyway. :) This could be both positive and negative depends on what do you think.

Positive - Each of subdomain has been treated as separate website. This could mean one subdomain could be one of your vote and what if you have more than one? If you have promoted each of them properly, they could be your "legit" link network

Negative - Since each of subdomain has been treated separately, they would be a bit harder to promote them by using the authority of root domain by being a part of it.

i think creating a separate page is more impo. then creating a sub domain for particular keyword.

town.domain.com will have no privilages and will be treated as a new Site made.

But domain.com/town will be prefered and ranked well according to the Page rank of your Domain.com :D

its not just PR that matters, but content too :) Note that :)

    Thanks.
