Sub Domains -vs- Sub Directories

I seem to remember reading somewhere that you can run Adsense in sub domains but that you can't run it in sub directories. Now I can't find any reference to it.

Can anyone help? Are there any problems with running it in either sub domains or sub directories?

 

Nonsense, you can run it all over your site as long as Google can access it.

 

As long as the page(s) complies with the terms and conditions of google adsene, I don't think it matters if it is a sub directory or a sub domain.
