Sub domains.. Classed as same or different by SE

    I've been asked by someone to link to a sites subdomains, but they say they have a few hundred subdomains, do SE class this as the same site?

    They also say the LINKS pages will be different on each subdomain...Hmm not from what I've seen already!

    eg.

    subdomain.site.com
    subdomain1.site.com
    subdomain2.site.com

    Hope you understand what I.m trying to say!

    No. But, generally subdomains will be interlinked, so there is still a heavy association.

    They show up as seperate domains in SERPs. However, they are VERY likely to be heavily related in terms of providing link popularity.
