sub domains and SOE

    You will not be penalized because your site is hosted as a subdomain. By the way, most sites are hosted as a www subdomain : for example, www .digitalpoint.com is a subdomain of digitalpoint.com, like forums.digitalpoint.com is another subdomain.

    I have not seen any evidence that the www subdomain is better or worse than any other subdomain for SEO.
