Sub-Domain Question

I just create a sub-domain through CPANEL. However when I try to navigate to it, the subdomain re-direct me to top level domain. What is going on?
Do I have to wait for 24 hours or something?

When You created the Subdomain, What directory you selected, it will direct there. if you left it blank, it will go tot he TLD.

 

I have an index file but it still re-direct back to TLD.
I create new directory for subdomain too.

it seems you have a wildcard entry in the httpd.conf of domain, like serveralia domain.com www.domain.com *.domain
Only this state leads to the thing you are mentioning.

 

Which script are you using for the TLD ?
Can you post the contents of your .htaccess here ?

 

Hey.... in subdomain section of ur cpanel itself...

There is a part which says Manage redirects.... Remove the redirection if there is any by default....

I hope this works out...
