Sub domain or subfolder which is more SEO friendly?

I am little bit confuse on sub domain and sub folder, which is the best choice.
1. My website all ready have page rank 2 .Now I want create some more section in details. Should I go for sub domain or sub folder? Which one is better?
2. My another question is did my present page rank will follow in all my sub domain or I have to promote individually all sub domains and what is case in case of sub folder ?
3. What you thing which is easy to remember sub domain or sub folder from the point of view of visitor?

i'd go for subfolder so your subfolder site can absorb pr juice from your main site

 

well you can do it on subdomain or subfolder it doesn't really matter. But make sure you don't do too deep on your subfolder
meaning abc.com/dir1/dir2/yourpage.html.

 

Use folder if you want to pass the rank from your domain.

 

Subfolder is the thing which is in..

Sub domain is more of an old concept..

 

I do not like subdomains, Google sees them as seperate sites.

 

I think having some domain is good for link building.

 

Sub domain is a new website and sub folder is like a new webpage of website, sub folder count all main domain links and get fast reputation in Google eye.

 

Answers:
1-) Go for sub-Folder because it will be treated as a new page, Instead of a new domain.
2-) In Case of sub domain you will have to promote your link to get the desired PR, but in case of Sub-Folder it will be treated as a new page of the Existing site.
3-) Of-course Sub-Folder, If your site is not as popular as Digital point. ^^

if you really have a bigger site and thousands of search term and dynamic pages then go for specific sub folder

 

It would be better to go with sub-folder, atleast you will be able to pass link juice of home page to your sub-folders.

 

Subfolder is faster to index and get good PR.
