What would be the safest way to market a handfull of sub-domains ?

Would it be adviseable to sumit them seperately to bunch of search engines or could this be seen as spammin seeing as they come from the same main URL?

How about directory submission......Could submitting subdomains to one directory be considered as spam.

What are the reccomendations regarding this subject?

You dont need to submit to search engines, just put up links and google will find them, what you really need is a google XML sitemap.

darksat is right, however to promote those specific pages, article submission is the way to go.

Since each sub will have it's own niche, it will need different links ;)

Are the subdomains related to each other? try directories that allow deep links, link exchanges, articles etc but it really depends on how they relate to each other and the niche.

For directory submissions, you need to look for directories that allow subdomains, deep links. Mostly, they would ask you to pay to list subdomains

    NO.
But 95% free directories won't accept subdomains.
