Sub domain in another server

    Friends, i want to know how can i use my sub domain in another server. For example : I use my main domain - example.com host in hostgator and i want to install my sub domain demo.example.com in hostmonster. Is this possible. How?

    Hello there,

    This is possible. All you need to do is setup an account with the same main domain on the second server, then add the subdomain to it. Once done, update your DNS records on your main server, to have the subdomain point to the IP address of the second server.

    Sure, just setup your DNS with A record pointing IP address of that server

    Login to your account at hostgator with main domain.

    Go to advance DNS zone there you can set new subdomain with ip of hostmonster server.

    TLL = 1400
