Sub-directories Way different than main site

    I have a site that is about SEO...but then I have sub-directories that are about something way different. Is it possible to move these sub-directories up the SERPs if they are different than what the main site is about?

    Absolutely... Google doesn't rank sites. They rank each page... err... each unique URL separately.
