Here's the thing I do: 1) Figure out something stupid for April fools joke (something tech related) - create a video and put it youtube - register a domain - get to Techcrunch (send them "tip" about your prank) 2) Wait for 3 months (or 6 or whatever). Your page rank will increase and some people will link to your site... and whatnot. 3) Go to link sales forum and do a search for "WTB" 4) Sell links to your site. Kind of stupid of me not to realize this sooner, but I just got it that my PR3 techcrunch featured prank site is actually worth $$$. Yammy. Thought to share.
