Sorry but there is no way that people should get infractions for posting something in the wrong category. We are human beings, we make mistakes. I had a problem with Google, I posted it in the Google forum, it was then moved to the SEO forum. I obviously don't know anything about SEO, because I have no idea why my topic fits into that category. But still, why does that warrant an infraction? It's a mistake, you could just post in the topic saying "Sorry buddy, this is in the wrong forum, I'll move it for you " - What is the problem with that? It's just way too strict, like I said, we're only human.
One infraction isn't going to change your life or your forum status. It's not going to affect your credit rating or your ability to rent movies from your local video store. Nobody but the mods sees your infractions, and you have to get ten before there's a ban. Like the guy who drops his keys in a stream of lava: "just let it go, man."
You wasted our time by not reading the sticky in the Google forum. You waste our time by bumping threads! Now you're wasting our time whining about it!
