stupid scammers

    Hey, I just received this email from "blizzard", see how long it takes you to figure out why its a scam:

    It has come to our attention that you are trying to sell/trade your
    personal World of Warcraft account.
    As you may or may not be aware of, this conflicts with the EULA and
    Terms of Agreement.
    If this proves to be true, your account can and will be disabled. It
    will be ongoing for further investigation by Blizzard employee\'s.
    Blizzard might consider taking legal actions against your crime, if it
    seems to be of an extreme nature.

    If you wish to prevent your account from being suspended you should
    immediately verify your account.
    This action is taken because we at Blizzard Entertainment take these
    sales
    quite seriously. We need to confirm you are the original owner of the
    account.
    This is easiest done by confirming your personal information along with
    concealed information about your account.
    You can confirm that you are the original owner of the account by
    sending an email to your representative.

    first im like oh s***, then when i actually read the email i realized its a scam. Im sure a lot of people have gotten taken by this though.

    I get tones of spam email from supposedly banks and even the logos and the graphics on the top of the email look like the real thing, the only thing that gives it a way is the email. They keep asking me to change my bank details by email because there has been a security breach in my accounts, and the funny thing is i dont even belong to the banks either, I wonder how many people they actually catch out..its sad

    it's the poor grammar that usually makes them (and this one) easy for me to spot... I guess if they could read and write, they'd have a real job..

    You should report it to Blizzard asap. They're suppose to warn all account holders and take steps against this scammer!

    no. I emailed him and asked him about it, what he does is he logs into their accoutn with the password, and unloads all of the gold and armor and weapons and everything on the account to some other account, then sells that

    he said he had only made $30 after doing that for about a week, pshhh

    I hate spam their getting trickier all the time. you just get bounced from one list to another. I'm checking out some programs to do away with them:)

    So ridiculous. That email was yelling scam. Then, LOL - you question him and he then gives you an honest answer. Gotta love it.
