"It's better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all"

Ok....urrghhh  Does ANYONE agree with this?

I USED to, not anymore. Obviously the person who made this one up NEVER loved and lost or he/she would NOT say that. The hurt is not worth it!!!

Anyone else have any stupid sayings to share?

Some times after being for while with person that you loved, you will pray that you lose them. :) Just ask anyone who is divorced.

Don't be mad, there are a lot more fish in the ocean.

I am not mad, and I know that feeling all too well.

I am looking for the BIG FISH, whatever that is... oh heck, I am not looking.
I am happy in my own little world.

    More stupid sayings anyone??

Speaking of sayings, I just found a good one:

"Those who sleep with dogs will rise with fleas:

Damn, I am starting to itch.... :)

    How about this one...

I use that one quite often. I'm sure all my friends hate it by now.

    "Could have been worse"

Thanks for stating the obvious

Although "With all due respect" is a pretty lame one itself because it means you are about to get flamed with NO respect

And my new pet peeve "at the end of the day..."

Come's the friggin' night, get over it...

"Take care" is one I don't like. I don't take care. I take risks. Else my life will be boring. Else my career/ventures won't progress. If I would take care as much as people say it, nothing interesting would happen.

    Take Risk!

I don't know why but this post had me rolling... I bought these damn mint candies and was on MSN all night with my girl and I was way too hyper.. maybe that's part of why this is so funny.

Im amazed it just came to me but my hands down pet peeve is

"We gave it 101% out there"

If percentage no longer is a scale then why didn't you give it 105% you lazy bastards.

It like on Spinal Tap when his amp goes to 11. Rob Reiner asks him why he doesn't just make 11 - 10.

    His reply:
But this one goes to 11 - Thats one louder :D

    Fantastic scene that...
    I love Spinal Tap...
Yeah, I dropped a comment on his blog to say hi a few days ago... He's real busy at the moment I think...

Gonna go and see the Prodigy at Brixton with him in a month or so I think...
Really looking forward to that one ;)

That's a GOOD one, Sue. :) I find that to be the case with the one's I encounter, like God puts the broken one's on my doorstep and expects me to fix them. No more.

I want one to fix ME for a change, Hallelujah. Maybe God will hear my plea.
