OK, Maybe I missed reading this in their Google Adsense manual, but really, what determines what you will get paid per click? I'm just looking for some clarity on this, this for example: Large company pats 5.00 per click with adwords for the keyword foo Frankie Adsense junkie buids a website withe the general theme of foo. Some random surfer visits Adsense Junkie's site and clicks on an add, display by means of the topic of foo. How much will Adsense Junkie get for that click? Obviously not $5? Just wondring
it can vary from $3.xx to 5 cents. Google gets a cut but the bids vary a lot as does the EPC. I can sometimes get $4-23 clicks for my websites but most of my sites that target high paying words make only 50 cents a click. Then there is the whole issue of smart pricing...
Depends what the conversion rate is of the people that clicked on the ads of the advertisers as well. If the conversion rate is poor then smart pricing can kick in if i'm correct and then you will be paid less then a better converting site with the same ads. Also you can look at this link that will probably result in more questions but it gives some detailed information about various stuff and as well about payments. http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/internet/adwords-adsense-diagram.htm
wow, that is interesting. I did notice that sometimes. I do have a few sites that target high-paying words, but my earnings are minimal, but for sites like my beefjerky website sometimes gets me 2 bux. maybe it is one of those great mysteries.
who me? of course not just something i picked up on a while back. Takes a very good look to get the picture but it can give you very good idea how the system works from what is still applicable today. And is very usefull in my oppinion to understand terms and so on. After reading trough this you gained a few pounds of knowledge i guess
really unbelievable those ebay ads... are they for real ? I saw some "niche" ads, I always thought what smart people works for ebay... but now I begin to be doubtful
