Stupid Question about Hosting

    Hello,
    I have a hostgator account and I was wondering how to add another domain too it. I have a main domain but I signed up for a plan with unlimited domains. So how can I transfer a new one over. I changed the name servers but I don't think thats enough.

    You can put it on as an addon domain in cPanel.

    But it will be a totally different site. Is that still ok?

    If you need both domains to go to the same site then you can just setup a redirect on one of them. Otherwise addons will work.

    No the two sites have nothing to do with each other. Is that ok that there using the same CPanel?

    If you want completely different sites then addon domains will work just fine. It will create a new public html for your new domain once you add it.
