When your mechanic's car is constantly broken .... would you take yours to him for repair ?? I went to my preferred computer shop here in Switzerland a few weeks ago. I was very surprised to see a big A4 paper with "out of order" stuck on top of the screen of that computer they leave in the hall for customers to check their website!!! I thought: God, if they can't get their own computer running, how can I trust them to fix mine?? If they did not for their own business use a reliable computer, how can they sell me one ? Two weeks later I went back to that same shop and guess what!!!??? The same computer was still standing there with the same stupid note on the screen!!!!!!!!! Is not this hilarious ????? Yesterday I was with a fellow looking at the HP website trying to locate a local partner..... I was shocked to see that many sections of the HP website were giving errors of broken links.... Those are either true broken links, or simple errors of the HP servers the HP website is on..... (unless HP bought servers from another company..... while they are selling servers to the whole world...... ) Now you might think that I am just another nerd complaining about an occasional 404 .... but that is not true!!! my fellow told me those errors have been there for many weeks now ..... I am at home right now trying to look at the available certifications from HP ..... and guess what!!! Yes many links seem to be broken...... many pages never open ..... and no Sir, it is not my internet connection.... it is really the hp website itself..... and not all of it, just those sections ..... When I visit the microsoft website and I see an error message that says something like "the microsoft ODBE bla bla did some funny error with a strange code like SJGHWekijluzhj,msné654684er ", I think to myself : how shameful it is that such huuuuuuuuuge companies with many-billion-dollars-worth are selling their product to the whole world........ and not being able to use it correctly themselves.... is not this too funny stupid ????? don't you just kill your credibility in the eyes of your customers when they see clearly that you are not able to provide to yourself the service that you pretend to be able to provide to them ?
