Stupid HDFC bank Reversing all of my Money :(

    Hi there..
    I had 3-4 withdrawals from 21st october to 28th October ranging from 600 - 1500$ each..

And now after so many days, I still dint get anything on my bank account.
Then I looked on PayPal, it says, REVERSED.:mad:

And funds were added on my paypal with huge deduction of stupid fees.

I dont understand, why they were reversed.
SBI works fine and ICICI too.
But HDFC is reversing it all.

And also, I noticed a f**king thing in PayPal.

When the money is getting reversed, there should be a notification email, but there is nothing and no one knows, whats going on at PayPal.

Its so irritating. I hate PayPal now and HDFC also. I will kick HDFC on monday and will open an account at CitiBank.

I am using HDFC bank since last 2-3 years and withdraw money in it from paypal regularly without having any issue. You need to check this with your bank properly (account name, account number, ifsc code etc. stuff).

Paypal reverses the payment when there is some kind of mismatch of information submitted by you to paypal and to bank (usually). Just cross verify that everything is okay. And if the problem persists then contact HDFC.

very strange!! if all the a/c info is right then it should go right into your bank a/c. Enquire them the reason?? or otherwise direct them to reverse the charges.

I'll tell you whats wrong. You entered either of the following details wrong:

    - Account Holders Name
    - Bank Account Number
    - IFSC Code

The withdrawal was reversed to protect you.

I'd like to hear if he withdrew funds from the same PayPal account to that HDFC Bank acc. Also whether he deleted and then had to re-add the account?

Another Reason I can think of is that the paypal account had a negative balance due to dispute/charge back because of which bank withdrawals were reversed. It has happened to me once.

I don't think there is any problem from HDFC as I got my money just yesterday without any problem. :)

now that is scary ! call your personal banker at HDFC if you are a classic customer and ask him what is going on ? may be PayPal is doing some kind of investigation on the funds !
