Thats sad that adsense would do that but they do. Thats why I don't really use adsense very much.

    That's extremely low.
    I mean REALLY!!!

Try WidgetBucks, TribalFusion, some affiliate program... anything will perform better.
    Good luck!

    i average $0.5/click, 300clicks = $150

can u share ur niche? i am gonna stay away from it. (don't worry, no one would like to copy for sure):p

It looks like you've decided to use other advertising methods than adsense but i have seen a lot of people that were disappointed in their adsense earnings and I would like to offer some advice. If your niche is something you enjoy but doesn't pay that much , keep the same niche, but look for some things that are related to your niche that would be of interest to higher paying advertisers. In other words, look at it from the advertisers point of view. For example, if your niche is dogs and your site has information on dogs and pictures of dogs, you are probably getting advertisers selling dog calendars, dog collars, etc. and those advertisers may not pay more than a few cents an ad. If I wanted higher paying advertisers I might add a page on my site with information related to those high priced dog spas and upscale kennels where extreme dog lovers pay all kinds of money to let their dogs have a vacation while they are gone. Once you started getting relevant ads to this page, the ads would probably be higher paying because the advertisers would make more money from getting a new customer. Then, since you know you are already getting traffic to your home page with the lower paying ads, make it easy for people who come to your site to get to your new page with the higher paying ads by highlighting a link to your new article. Anyway, I just though I'd offer some advice....of course if it doesn't work, just remember how much you paid for my advice...absolutely nothing :)
