Hey everyone, would just like some feedback and reviews if possilbe on the StumbleUpon paid traffic. Also if anyone has any tips on the free way to do it at the same time, by building friends etc, how to get free traffic would also helps.

Thanks in advance to whoever puts input into this thread, RaZoR

Paid SU traffic isn't worth it. Half of SU traffic bounces right away. Another 25% after checking your site out. My solution is to use it like an honest person, and hope some people come through SU that like my site. Building friends also has other advantages as well.

Stumble traffic does not convert well at all. You could use piqq to increase the number of stumble to your sites. PM me if you want an invite :)

If you're going to do it, do it the legit way through stumbleupon's own advertising campaign - it's fair on them, and you don't run the risk of being banned.
It's not known for converting well, and I'm never sure if the pre-fetch system means that everyone that's queued your site ever actually sees it - but you can target by age, gender and location and it can be useful as a tool to get your site or a new page 'out there'.

I tried it and you get traffic fast but the bounce rate is huge and doesn't convert well.

I have never tried an advertising campaign at SU myself, but I have thought about it several times. I have heard from some people that it works rather well, and that's because they did receive a lot more traffic than they paid for.

I recommend that you sign up for Caroline Middlebrook's brand new StumbleUpon course. It's completely free and the course hasn't even been launched yet.

    The course is called StumbleRush

I've tried the paid stumble program 3 times and only one was what I would call succeccful
I would go to namepro's and try the np's incentive forum and buy some stumble traffic in that forum
You can then get reviews and real bookmarks
