    I just noticed in the recent pr update that my stumbleupon profile is now pr4. Does this really carry any weight as far as either traffic or backlinking is concerned?

    I wouldn't have thought so because stumble links from profiles are nofollow.

    The same happened with one of my digg profiles, not sure how it got PR4. Can anyone here explain?

    The more fans/friends you have has weightage and not the PR of the page since its no follow.
