StumbleUpon your site will immediately increase your site's traffic, but on the other hand, there is no use in SEO sense.

StumbleUpon is good if you know how to use it properly and can generate a ton of simi-targeted traffic!

If you target a proper keyword on StumbleUpon.com for your product, you will make money through the StumbleUpon.

The way you tell is if you're getting traffic. If you have a good site then some of the traffic will convert into natural links. The short quick burst of traffic is o.k., but I'd rather get a link or two from it that lasts for the long run.

Which analytics program are you using? Both Webtrends and Google Analytics will indicate referrals from SU.

As for the quality of SU traffic, it tends to come in sudden bursts, and doesn't generally drive sustained traffic to a page or site.

Mostly what I see SU traffic is not targeted, its just waste of bandwidth.

StumbleUpon will bring me a few hundred a day but to be honest none of them click on ads or convert into products bought.
