How many people have used stumbleupon and digg as seo tool and how many have benifited from this. i think people who dont get traffic they surely get 10 times more traffic when you submit to stumbleupon and digg. let discuss the change in traffic after submitting to both.

When you have a great content you will be successful with both Digg & SU.
Digg will bring you more instant traffic when you hit the mainpage.
However in the long run SU could actually bring you more traffic than Digg.

When I create a new page, I add my page to my sitemap, and then I send it to Digg ASAP, and I find that the page gets indexed within 24 hours. Digg is a great source for getting new content indexed, or old "supplemental" pages out of the cellar so to speak.

I have not had much luck from StumbleUpon, but I have not done too much with it yet.

    Hope this helps! :)

Please don't spam Digg. Articles that are technology based do well on Digg and If your content doesn't belong their you will not get any traffic from it. All that happens is that people like me have to digg through spam.

Plus the traffic from Digg does not convert well. They do not click on ads.

In my opinion, SU has been more beneficial at bringing in traffic. I even got a review or two on other sites out of it.

I've used SU and Del.icio.us and have not been impressed. Iv'e found that they send traffic alright, but in bursts, and not much in time on site and click through. Great for backlinks but not for quality traffic. But they may work for your site. You never know until you try :D

I have several StumbleUpon traffic coming in but they do not convert well... I think digg.com traffic converts better :)

Stumbleupon is the biggest generator of traffic to my site, never had much success with Digg, but then the little f**kwits think that all SEO's are spammers because of a few rotten eggs, Netscape smacks em both up!

Digg is probably better because of the natural back links you will get from a homepage story.
