Stumbleupon sending lots of traffic, still no clicks

Which is because I'm assuming most people with SU are using Firefox and probably using adblocker (or similar) plugin.

Seems obvious that I'm not going to be able to make any revenue off the massive bulk of my visitors. Other suggestions?

Bulk visitors or buying traffic is never a good option to monetize your site using Adsense. What you need to do is concentrate on SEO for your site and getting more traffic from the search engines. That's the best quailty of traffic.

Very true..I got stumbled the other day on one of the pages on my site. This is the page: http://www.mycatishot.com/wallpaper/Black-Cat-Blue-Eyes/

The traffic was huge as you can see (over 8000 page views) but clicks were not that impressive

Stumbleupon sends short term traffic. Anyone tried submitting their site to http://www.coolsiteoftheday.com/mc/index.html ? I submitted my site but wasnt very successful with them

If you are using adsense then its better for you to neglect stumbleupon cause stumbeupon traffic can make your adsense account banned for fraud impression...because of stumbleupon traffic your ctr will also become low

Yeah, I watched my CTR go from 1.7ish to .8 in a couple days....

At least I'm getting visitors, I suppose. Time to start looking for advertisers?

That is due to the fact that traffic from social book marking websites converts quite poorly.

Social networking sends crap traffic in terms of Adsense revenue. Focus on organic traffic if you are relying on clicks for revenue...

For adsense yes, for CPM advertisements they are always good since the traffic is clean and "unique" :)
