I'm thinking of offering a service free for stumbleupon members that review our website. Does SU care if we advertise that?

What kind of service would it be? SU frowns upon "bribing" people to stumble your site, but it doesn't mean that it is illegal. Again, kinda depends upon what you are offering.

You are not allowed to use Stumble Upon to promote your site or anyone else's. Offering or encouraging stumbles are strictly forbidden. Trust me, they are banning quickly for it now. The only way you can ask for stumbles if by placing their banner on your site.

Should have clarified, I purchase traffic directly from SU. Want to give them a special offer for reviews. Sounds like that's out though. :)

if you are planning doing anything with SU traffic, think twice. its the worst converting traffic. they will come to your site and bounce off right away without even looking at your site. i have never heard anyone getting any luck with SU traffic

I agree. I loved seeing the traffic coming in but I was banned from Stumble Upon and lost the traffic. I now seem to make more money with less traffic. The only thing I was getting from Stumble Traffic was increased bandwidth usage.
