So, I have a new, month old blog and I want to purchase stumbles and reviews to get new visitors initially and also have a high count to get new uniques over time.

If I buy hundreds of stumbles and reviews, how should I space them out so it looks realistic? How many of these at a time is too much?

Check out my Sig for Free & Paid Stumbles.

If you want to do paid stumbles, you need to have consistency.. at least once a month you need to add stumbles, as sites that do not get stumbles for a while tend to drop in the ratings.
