StumbleUpon.com Traffic

I was just curious if StumbleUpon.com is considered QUALITY traffic to Yahoo Publisher Network. They charge 0.05 for targeted US traffic, but I'm just curious if this would be considered not good quality (example: myspace) since the way the site is set up.

Please let me know if anyone has any experience with this site...I really like the way you can set up the ad campaign, and how fast they deliver the visitors.

I am getting a large amount of traffic from stumbleupon just recently. Don't know why either? Not complaining though!

First, use the service to see how it works. Then, decide if you want to submit your site(s).

I think it's kind of neat. When I first used it, I got tons of traffic to my site with no conversions, no ad clicks.

As I used the service more I found out why. My site just wasn't that good. When I hit that "Stumble!" button, chances are a pretty cool site comes up that I never would have found otherwise. Most are not monetized in any decipherable way. And if I don't like a site in two seconds, I click "Stumble!" again.

Some stumbler found your site and clicked "I like it" on their toolbar, thus including you in their network. Must be a killer site.:)

I think stumbleupon is free and is a online bookmarking site, where you bookmark a site to share with others.

Yes, stumbleupon is free, but you can apparently pay to be included in the "stumble."

At least that's what it looked like to me.

I get a fair amount of traffic from them, though not through the paid service.

The traffic may not be the highest quality if you're looking for clicks on your ads, but since a lot of stumblers seem to have their own websites or blogs it can definitely make a difference in you getting new organic incoming links!

Forgive me for going completely off topic for a minute but I have a SU question to ask and I don't think it warrants the creation of a new thread.

When you navigate to the review page of a website (i.e here, there is a number in parenthesis next to the website URL: "Reviews of
    msn.com ( 34K )"
    What does this number mean?

So far the free StumbleUpon has provided me a lot of traffic, no clicks, or any extra clicks during this period. Most folks also stay on my site(s) about 5 seconds or so from StumbleUpon, according to statserver.

Trying the paid service, using $5.00 as a test, the money was gone in 2 hours, no clicks during this period. Seems stumbleupon might be a great easy way to get banned from YPN, since you get a lot of traffic that is very very poorly as far as converting....... etc

I am not sure YPN but so far I know Google don't like traffic from stumbleupon

I have seen people getting emails from Google giving them waring about the traffic they receive from stumble upon!

I would say better be safe than be sorry!

stumbleupon is almost similar to digg. So does google accept the traffic from digg. If they do then why not stumbleupon ??

Also If someone bookmarks someones website in stumbleupon and gets traffic, does he gets booted out of google??

If that is the case then if you wan someone to get booted out of adsense, just bookmark his site in stumbleupon. I don't think it would be that easy as many would have booted out by now and you could have seen lot of threads poping out in DP.

    Anyways....
