yeah sure, but toolbar PR is not always accurate; For some sites it will show the same PR throughout the whole site, also on pages that didn't get indexed.. (saw that a lot on article sites)
Yeah, I receive a good amount of traffic from SU. I think I'm restricted from submitting my own URL as of today
Thanks guys - I tried it last night, and so far have had 40 visits - no adsense clicks or signups yet though (not positive about the clicks, but I had a poor click day). But still cool, gets your site out there to be seen, and who knows - maybe someone will remember your site and come back again? Can't wait, hopefully I get even more referrals from them
I had a nice little boost in traffic for a few days, IMO every little bit helps. Hopefully a few of those people bookmarked and will become repeat visitors.
i use it too sometimes, but i normally i dont sign up somewhere. i just skip sites if they look to commerial, but sometimes i bookmark good sites and browse arround a bit, or just post the url somewhere else. i guess this system is nothing for people trying to make big $$$ from any ppc or affiliate program.
I tried the stumbleupon thing.. It worked. I got an extra 70+ visitors in a few hours. It amounted to worthless traffic though in my mind.
i have notice that stumbleupon vistors dont normally stay on your site long, as anyone else notice this.
I have some that stay for a few seconds, while I've had others stay for as long as 15 minutes...playing games and such. Guess it depends on what type of content you have. Usually it takes something unique or interesting to catch my eye before I really stop and check out a site while stumbling. There are so many sites to see and I guess it's hard to stop and check em all out. If you can get people to blog about your site on their SU pages, your site might end up on the buzz page...not really sure, though. My site has ended up there a couple times after people blogged about it.
Not to belabor this, but stumbleupon hasn't sent one person to my ebiz site and it's been many days now. Any ideas why this might be? Thanks!
Iv been using SU for quite some time now promoting my websites. It now looks like you can only submit a certain amount of pages from one domain.
I'm late to the party! I just signed up and gave the thumbs up to a few things. Like everyone else, the traffic seems to be okay but it certainly isn't sticking around long enough to click on anything... If a few of them like something enough to bookmark it or blog about it, then that would be great. That's pretty invisible though so you won't know about it.
Sometimes when you get dugg and a lot of people SU that page you can get more traffic from SU than digg itself. Obviously the more thumbs up you have the better the traffic is going to be so others need to like it as well.
