    Hi,

This is not a joke. Could someone please help me out and briefly and in layman's terms explain what Stumbles and Digg is? The reason I am asking is that the blog that I do for a company has recently added little icons at the bottom of each entry where you can add it to "My Stumbles" or "Digg this."

Umm...I'm probably old enough to be your mom, so please be polite and explain it so an old person would understand.

    Thank you kindly.

digg is where users can signup, and add the useful resources/articles/news/shared-worthy contents and resources for others to see. One can "digg" to vote for the content as useful or "bury" to say its not useful.

Wbesites can add those buttons so people can "digg" he site and give more reason for people in digg community to come acorss and have a look at.

Stumble is a site you can add your url and the page will be roated randomly to stumble users. So it is as the title said. Stumble onto each other's site. How it works? A person can click "stumble" to load random wbesites at each click for him/her to view. You can also vote for the displayed page as good or bad

Stumble buttons enable visitors to either vote or "discover the site" (adding to stumble community) straight from the website
