Stumblers = magic

    Someone seems to have sumbmitted one of my articles to StumbleUpon probably on Friday/Saturday. On average, my website gets 25 - 40 visits per day.

    Just logged into Google Analytics today and...

    Sunday 25th November - 222 Visitors

    Not only this, the quality of visitors was great - my bounce rate has decreased from around 72% to 59%

    Go Stumble Upon!

    I'd strongly recommend bloggers to stumble their better posts - or better yet, make them so good that your readers stumble for you!

    As with all such services though, you get a lot better results when your writing is of a high standard rather than any old thing you've written just to earn a few bucks.

    Yeah the traffic is pretty decent but the magic part is getting consistent results from it.

    When I stumble my tutorials, they do not appear in my account anymore as I have reached the maximum count of stumbles, is there a maximum count? and if there is, how can I reset it?

    StubleUpon is great for traffic.:D I have had very positive results when my posts get stumbled. I notice above that someone mentioned long term traffic from SU. This can be achieved with a timeless post (quality reference) but the days for traffic can be very hit or miss. Some days 50 visitors some days one to two. Very unpredictable.

    Stumbleupon is good but the traffic always seems to fall off eventually. One of my sites got 30k views in less than one month from SU. Now it gets like 60 hits a day from SU.

    Yeap this happens ... and i really don't know the exact cause . Maybe because of excessive stumbling of your own articles?

    I completely agree. Stumbleupon is great, as is digg. I have had success with some blogs by submitting my articles to SU and digg.

    I usually get bursts of traffic when I stumble a new page, sometimes even around a 1000 UVs.

    It also depends upon the kind of tags you've tagged your site with. For example, I once tried iphone on a page related to cell phones and got a alot of traffic.

    Good for you, I am getting average of 1000+ daily uniques from SU on my blog. I got 75k in the last 30 days. It is very interesting that from 150k pageviews, this and this page got 50k solely. Take them as an example of what is attracting stumblers. :)

    As far as I know there is no limit of the pages you can stumble, but if you continuosly stumble pages from single domain, they will soon get ignored and probably the domain name, banned. I experienced this, when a page I stumble doesn't show in my profile. It was because I stumbled around 5 pages from 1 domain. When I tryed the next day I had no problems. ;)
