Considering I usually get between 1 and 0 visits a day from stumble to suddently recieve this many was great.

But where did they all come from? Looking in google analytics they all came from "/refer.php"

So my question is what do I need to do to keep them coming?

A short answer would be keep doing what youre doing, its obviously working :)

If you keep writing creative content visitors will keep coming back. Do you know which pages brought all the traffic, if so trying tailoring a bit more content to that topic.

    Good Luck

lol. Digg sent me just over 13000 visitors a week ago tomorrow, and my blogs gone from about 0 visits daily to somewhere between 100 and 200, which have stuck around :D
I'm not so sure on how to get the 13k back though :S

I don't get stumble, how do i get my sites on there? :p

It probably made me around £10.

Maybe I should add stumble buttons to my page, might help things a bit.

That seems happen to almost all social bookmarking site. One you have a good post, visitors may visit your site otherwise they look for others.

stumbling helps, on one of my sites, it has sent almost 7000 uniques over a period of 3 days. so if you have really good content, people will keep on coming. Moreover the key in stumbleupon is that if someone reputed likes your content, then you will get tonnes of traffic...

    Just like I posted before:

DO NOT spam StumbleUpon, especially with crappy pages.

StumbleUpon is coming down hard on spammers. Here's an example of what your site may end up like:

    Banned Site

You cannot rate or comment on this website. It has been banned from StumbleUpon because the owner has been abusing our service, or has asked that their site not be included in StumbleUpon.
If this still doesn't work for you, please Contact Us to let us know :)

Aside from that, StumbleUpon is an excellent source for getting great traffic (like I said, only on quality pages!!).

The traffic is semi-targetted, however Stumblers are flighty. If they don't like the page, they'll hit Stumble! again OR WORSE report the page.

Be smart about it! Read this thread about the bans

    Here's another about Stumbling

BE SMART - DON'T ABUSE IT
