Studio Press vs Woo Themes vs Templatic vs Elegant Themes - Comparison

    Hello,

First thing I am sick of free WordPress themes now. Let me make it clear, my requirement is for the printeroutlook.com, yopatel.com, epaperwiki and some other WordPress blogs themes which would be bringing the latest news daily. So I need a theme which perfectly suits them and this should me more SEO optimised. I was thinking to go with any magazine style theme but I have 90 % of visitors landing on single post articles, so front page layout can be of least preference to me!

Additionally that's not all, I have few sites which are more business intended where I need like 4 pages (just like a business website looks normally). So I think business themes will do it.

I have gone through all of these Premium theme providers like Studio Press vs Woo Themes vs Templatic vs Elegant Themes. Now I need inputs from your side like -
    • What Premium theme you have used
    • How long
    • Theme Effect on SEO
    • Your view
    • Recommended for my blogs/sites

As you see my requirements, I need a theme services provider which can offer me magazine style themes, business themes and price I am not saying it should be on the lower side, average.

    Any room for help!

Since you are looking for magazine and business themes I would suggest you to go with woo themes, also not forget to check out theme fuse, it's upcoming WP premium provider, cheers

I have heard Templatic themes have too many bugs :(

I've been using premium themes for over 5 years. There is no ONE theme maker that I use. I use many.
Templatic Themes, always seem to be buggy...so I stay away from them.

I do stay away from frameworks. It's just a personal choice. WordPress ain't broke, I hate using theme frameworks that reinvent the wheel and do a bunch of things that I don't want or need it to do. To me most just overcomplicated things. Woo themes is the only exception.

    Hi.

I've been using woothemes for over 3 years now and haven't had any problem. Their themes are really well designed and their customer service is the best in the business.

I use wordpress seo by yoast and it interacts with my theme without any problems.
my recommendation would be to check out woothemes. For me, it's not always about the price, it's the theme and the customer service behind that theme. I would have a look at woothemes (but I'm biased)

Agree with dotbibin, you can't compare these developers unless you are looking for the same kind of theme from each other

As far as I know Yoothemes have the best, you can customize as you like, its responsive theme, with many sidebars, you can chose whatever layout you need with just a click from your dashboard.

    +1 for WooThemes.

    And OptimizePress.

Not every theme is great on Theme Forest - plus you can't get a refund there. So do your due diligence before buying from Theme Forest.

If you are going for the cheapest themes then go for Elegant Themes.

    Thanks Everyone
Never heard of YooTheme and I have gone though it. Don't like it at all for a WordPress blog.

It depends on your requirements. Either Elegant, Templatic or WooThemes has its own strength!

D2D - would you consider creating a theme for me based on an existing design?
