I am helping a friend build an online store. I am stuck on the design because I needs to look cutsie and stuff......I was hoping you could give me some suggestions.... www.allaboutyoumonograms.com
Colour scheme and design looks like this is done for 3year old kids. Cannot say that I don't like it-it is nice. Does it correspond to the subject? I don't know.
yeah, they wanted a very simple design. what do you mean by being designed for three year olds? what could be changed? I am very open to suggestions. Thanks
I think that the coulers are exelent ! as it is for children... the stuff is for. So the parrent who is the user will get in the right mood. Sorry for the bad spelling ;(
well the age group is for all because it is a monograming store. the candles and such are more adult and home decor but the majority of the stuff is for kids. so i need to maybe make it look more professional?
I like the pink and green colors. Personally I would change the background and the gray links and borders to a different color, and have a different horizontal menu, with nice mouse-overs. Visit a site like http://www.colorschemer.com/schemes/index.php or http://www.colorschemer.com/online.html to find out what colors work well with eachother. The colorschemer site is a nice example btw for a site that is simple yet beautiful.
Make the font on the left navigation bar darker so people can concentrate on navigating your site more than just looking at the pics otherwise the pink and the logo i like a lot it fits what you sell !
i did use that site to pick my yellows. funny thing is . it is a great site but i am never sure what colors to use for what..... anyhoo...can u give me an idea of what you are thinking on the menu links....
I think the bright color of the logo takes away from the site since the rest of the site uses a lot of soft colors. The Home - Contact Us - Fonts buttons need to go or change them to soft colors as well. I think if you are going to use soft colors for your background, you should go with dark colors for the font. The contrast makes the site cleaner, easier to read, and more attractive.
toying with the menu....can you suggest some colors for the fonts.....i can't find a dark color scheme to match.
