While it does dry fast the prank can work, I've heard of it in the past. Super glue although it dries very fast, in a thick enough bead it will dry on the outside, when pressure is placed onto it the dried outer surface will crack causing the inner part to ooze out, still fully active. 'not sure of all types, but I've had this happen when working with it myself on projects' Granted it still does dry quick, but this method does give it a bit more time. Still would doubt it to be an extended amount of time, but enough time for the prankster to possibly pull it off especially if someone was currently waiting in line.
I've never seen a line at home depot's bathrooms, let alone a line to the men's restroom. I mean I guess if you are dedicated enough you could just hold up in the bathroom all day until someone started frantically beating on the door and then put the glue down and leave. I think that would be the only case where someone wouldn't check the seat of a public restroom before just sitting down. I don't like to sit on a public restroom seat if someone else just got up from it. There's just something gross about sitting on a toilet that has been warmed by some other guy's butt.
Don't disagree with you I just remember the stunt being done when I was in high school and remembering it 'supposedly' had worked.
That's exactly what I was thinking when I read the last post. But I can think of a few times when I had to go pretty bad and had to run like a mad man on crack to the other end of 500,000 sq ft of store. I tend to go to HD after a few too many Buds thinking, "what can I buy to make it look like I do something around the house." Of course that was number one, not number two...
