Kill the following processes addme.exe Remove the following files addme.exe, heibai.net.txt. I am using Windows Me . I need to do what i have mentioned above to remove a virus . The problem search is not working , is there a task manager in windows me ??? Could someone tell me how to do the above job ? I cant use a USB Drive , I cant use CDROM and even my net !!! ( btw i am on different pC )
I think you can right click on Tasbar Go to Task Bar and then in Process Tab and End those tasks There are also Softwares like Tuneup Utilities, or XP Manager, Tweak XP etc.. etc.. you can use them
go to run, and type in, msconfig, then from the startup tab, simply remove the programes that you want to remove, next time those processes won't start! i think there is a taskmanager, alt+cont+del must bring the task manager, anyways, you can refer to my computer maintainance blog! that can help you a bit,
