    Hi,

I am really stuck on most of my keywords at between positions 50 - 100!

I have done as much linking as I can. I havejoined the coop!

How long does it take before google picks up backlinks? some datacenters show 4 or 5 links and some dont show any!

Where do I go from here!!!!

    More links!

    Is the site fairly new?

Also add new content, additional pages. G likes evolving sites.

You can say the site is fairly new, about 6 months, been adding links for about 2 months. MSN is showing 1000 backlinks, yahoo is showing over 100 and G is showing none!

Also where can I get more links from!!!!??? not repricol.

    From places like linkmarket.net etc.

Sounds like your still hampered by the sandbox. I'd say focus on content and converting the traffic you do get for a while. Then in 1-2 months focus back on ranking.

Google doesn't update their visual backlinks(shows up from a link: search) very often. There's a historical list somewhere, but if I recall correctly, it's normally 30-100 days between updates... Pitiful for a company with such a huge distributed infrastructure-- it's obviously done on purpose to hinder web marketer's measurement of their efforts...

sounds like a filter to me, try adding &filter=0 to the search string url

    What is the sandbox?

Anyway, i tried adding the &filter=0 but nothing new. Sometimes I get about 4 or 5 backlinks and sometimes none, mostly none.

So I should just wait a couple of months? Do google adwords help rankings??

Don't worry what Google are telling you in terms of how many links you have.

They never display the correct figure.
