    Hello,

I am stuck at number 5 in G. For the life of me and can’t see why the page in number one is there. The keyphrase is 'foreclosure bailout'

    http://www.google.com/search?q=fore...client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-USfficial

    My domain is mortgagesaver.org

My page is valid xhtml and I have 236 backlinks with proper anchor text

To this sites 14 internal links and this site uses hidden text located at the top of the page.

    Any ideas here?

    Why?

    Just get more links...

    Why bother reporting someone.

Personal Grudge ::I hate it when people use hidden text....if you want the text on your site..then make it visible..thats what websites are for: CLIENTS TO READ

if you have it hidden then it is obviously not necessary for your visitors,,,therefore not necessary for your page...if it is then make it readable.

google quite clearly states in its TOS ---NOT to use hidden text--- so if you do you shouldn't expect to be in their SERP's EVER !!

I have reported this site many times to google but they do nothing. They are too busy counting there IPO cash.

    I disagree.

If it gets you there, then great.

Hidden text is a bit of a cop out, but you have to admit, if it works, then all the better for you.

they will get to it....just mark your mail "how can you ignore this". :D
e-mail any clients of theirs pointing it out to them also..and then borrow their hidden text...unhide it..and add it to the bottom of your page
no one can complain about having hidden text stolen

You are entitled to use whatever means you want...its your choice, and take the consequences on the chin.
My preference is not to cheat the system and rank as high as possible,
if its not high enough then i will have some promotion and link building to do.
