Hi, i have an arcade site which has almost the same amount of traffic each day: ~50 UV / day. I added only high quality games (~100 games), i used unique descriptions, unique images (thumbs) for all the games listed on my site, i did some link exchange, i added the site to ~450 directories and got approved to almost all of them, but i got stuck at those ~50 Unique Visitors per day. I even had a contest with some nice prizes (a PS3 DVD, a PC game and a 2Gb stick); this contest brought me 250+ new members and some of them keep coming back to the site. What's the next step i should make in order to increase my traffic?
You need to give it some time. If you have noticed that your visitor/day is capped, starting introducing other strategies. Do some additional marketing online. Free or paid. YOu will start driving new traffic to your site
Ignore the suggestion about 'giving it some time' - unless your visitor count is constantly improving, staying on the spot and hitting the 'refresh' button of you Google Analytics tab is going to do nothing else but kill your opportunities. Look into new traffic building strategies - either read the forum posts, some quality blogs or get some e-books and video courses. You need to be making a constant effort to build your traffic until you have the traffic sources set up - then you can relax and sit back.
How weird is that? 50 is the exact same number as me for one of my blogs. Have you tried tried joining some gaming forums and seting a task of making ten posts a day on them? (No spam, obviously) EDIT: That politics street fighter game is class!
Keep doing what you have done so far, and don't forget to build links. This thingy takes some time, that is just natural.

50 UVs per day, 5 UVs per day - come on people, seriously, there's HEAPS of (both free and paid) traffic building information available around here - how can you still show such numbers? I don't even now whether I should laugh or cry but to me it's simply unbelievable ...
Considering the nature of his signature, I'm pretty sure he's just link baiting you guys. Pretty obvious. I'm sitting at 75 UVs a day right now. Site has been up since Nov. 27th. Working on driving more traffic to it.
If your traffic mostly comes from google you may need some time... things may change drastically with every update sometimes for good sometimes for bad.
OP: Can you think of some kind of incentive for people to come to your site and then throw up a good advert for it across several free classified sites? Whilst that's happening, just keep building backlinks - many more than you have been doing each day.

50 UV seems very less for a gaming site. You can get more traffic, but focus on developing things that attract them. The prizes u give, may bring returning visitors., but focus on getting organic visits from search engines. Perhaps this is what everyone is trying to do. Good luck on ur journey
