Its too hard for me now a days, despite working in for hours maintaining my forum. Actually its a Webmaster & Technology forum. Online since 2008 and still i am unable to make in anything with the forum. Members come and disappear everyday spent huge money arranged contests still no use. Where i am wrong? I am unable to find errors. What can be the solution. I am mentally pissed at the moment and really lose. Day by day bad thoughts come to sell it up while its like my dream my first ever site i can't consider selling it up. any help?

PS : The forum isn't in my signature its a different one

it took me about 20 seconds to load.
you hardly have any content, seo forum got 15 threads. i can see you haven't put much time adding value to the forum by adding good content. that would be the main reason why its not going anywhere.

I am using a brilliant VPS server and its like its giving me some pain in the ass at the moment. My forum was much concentrated over technology later made it for both Webmasters & Technology therefore its bit empty

As webcosmo has stated the forum loads really slow (it even didn't load a couple of times for me). Your forum doesn't have a lot of "unique features" by unique I mean content/tools/resources that can't be found elsewhere, without this you'll find yourself losing members to your competitors which offer such content/tools/resources, etc.

An example of what I mean is the forum names and descriptions you've copied from DP, I mean why would anyone visit your forum and use your forum when it's basically a copy of a much larger forum such as DP ;)

    Good luck!

Glad I could help, if you do that and add some more unique content to your site, then you should start to see an increase in participation and less struggling :)

    Good luck!

Any user generated site will have people come and go. Perhaps your motivation (selling the site) is holding you back.

Don't give up hope. It is a competitive world and you have got a lot of time ahead of you. Wait and reap the benefits.

    1. Visually unappealing and boring
    2. I'm always weary of webmaster sites not run by a webmaster.

That's a couple things right there.

vBulletin 4 is the slowest/most bloated forum software. That's the main reason why it's slow (unless you want to cut down on the features actually put in).
