I offer travel deals in the New England area at my site http://www.insidertrips.com I feel like we have a good service to offer to travelers in the area, and i'm trying to spread the word. Of course we have facebook and twitter pages, but i'm wondering if anyone has any ideas as to promoting and building our subscriber base without spending a ton of money on advertising. Looking forward to any words of wisdom you might have. Cheers!
a good way is to maybe offer a coupon if they subscribe to your newsletter maybe say 5% off their next purchase and then give it an expiration date of 1 month so not only do you get them to subscribe but you have a better potential of a sale after they subscribe
Promotion codes and sign up VIP coupons for those who follow for first time? Special deals will spread like wildfire on its own
Thanks guys...i think discounts and offer codes are a good idea..but then again, i don't want to cheapen the product that i'm selling.
Where there is a demand you have to supply in order to be successful. Why not have them subscribe to be in for a chance to win a percentage off?? Just make sure that you really give the prize out, unlike so many others!
Absolutely! And maybe offer a free travel ebook or some other information product that provides value. You shouold also hire an SEO consultant to get your site ranked so that organic search traffic will start trickling in on it's own. That would save on advertising. You could also write some articles and submit them to the popluar article directories with links back to your site. HubPages and Squidoo have worked wonders for traffic for my sites.
