I am looking for your expert suggestions on marketing of b2b website We did url re-writing/xml sitemap submission, search engine submission 3 months earlier yet no results... google has not indexed all the pages No traffic no revenue I am really struggling to get traffic...
Yes we have dynamic page titles.... Deep link building?? Page A > Page B > Page C> Page C > Page A something like this??
Yeah.. i am struggling for that for last 6 months... I read adsense forums.. people are earning More than USD1000 per week on google ads... I am wondering whats going wrong with my portal.. monthly earning are not more than USD50 on google ads...
Maybe if you posted your url it'll be easier to suggest you what to do. You should probably concentrate more on good quality content than just take your time to build links. If you have good content people will keep coming. Apart from submitting to directories and waiting for high result you could use other ways to get traffic, bookmarking for example.
If it makes you feel better, I'll let you know that there are more of us out there not getting our pages indexed by google, and struggling to get traffic
I think SU traffic is not too targeted, but it's also depends on your content. In my experience, SU is good for luring the spiders come to your site. After you stumble your site, ping your SU blog with Kping.com, I usually use this in my new site, and it usually works.
Depends on your definition of "targeted". SU users are mostly looking for entertainment. They "stumble" from one website to another. If your content is interesting to them, they will return. But if your website is boring (for them), they will just leave and never return. So.... Do you think SU users will be interested in a b2b website? Personally I don't think so. Some people submit their business/make money online website to SU, get some traffic, and because the visitors don't convert they say SU traffic is not targeted. Interesting content + some stumbles = traffic explosion Conclusion: IMO, StumbleUpon is not the right method to promote your website, due to the nature of SU users and your website (they are not the right combination). You might be better off with AdWords.
While SU may not be the perfect medium for building targeted traffic, my experience is that every little bit helps.
just keep on doing link building... create something interesting and post it to social bookmarking sites.
