    Hello folks,

Thanks in advance for any help or advice you guys can help me out with.

My name is Joe, and I have a rather strong background in Web Development/Design. Founded my own development company in 2005, and I now hold the lead eCommerce position at a larger private company.

Long story short, I'm 27, just got married on May 12. We were doing OK, then my wife lost her job shortly after we got married. We are still getting by, but I guess the point of all this is that I believe I can put my skillset to use and pull in some more cash than I already am - and relieve some of the stress thats on my shoulders lately (financially). I've been hearing more and more lately of individuals who are making good amounts of monthly revenue with PPC advertising, and I've been reading that some core skillsets to get start are web development skills which I would say I have (I say that humbly of course).

With all that said, I was hoping somebody could point me in the right general direction to get started. I am definitely not looking for any handouts, but maybe just some good advice to get my feet wet.

I hear alot about Google Ad-Sense, but Im not sure if there is a better option for me? Im hoping for a high level overview of where I should start.

Thank you very much for your time and for reading this. I hope you all have a great rest of your weekend,

    -J

    Any help would be appreciated!

Just to add to my original post: It looks like to atleast get started, I need to come up with some sort of site that generates traffic. My initial thought is to just get a WP blog up and update it frequently with current events from an AP source. The thinking here is to get it synched up with ad-sense.

Im just shooting in the dark here, but do you think this would be a step in the right direction?

Why don't you start a Web Development firm Joe? I'm sure freelancing (for a start), can get you all you want. If you have further questions, feel free to PM me, I'll be glad to help you.

I've owned an operated a web development firm for 7 years now. I'm just burnt out on it to be honest. Im thinking there is a stronger potential in PPC for less work (at least that is my impression)

    Thanks for the reply
