hey people! Do you think that worth a strong keyword with a bad extension? strong keywords like real state weight loss loan money casino poker ( just examples) with bad extensions like .nu .ag .de .vg want to know your opinion!
Yeah, EU is worth it for sure, there is one issue tho, I think it has to be your name or your trademark or something that looks totaly different then a trademark. Maybe a bit harder to find a good one, but still this gives quite some credibility
It depends how strong the keyword is & how crappy the ccTLD is. If you go for the top 5 keywords, then most likely it would be worth it, otherwise, other strong but not extremely strong keywords are not worth it in crap ccTLD extentions LOL...why is that?
I think there is definitly lots of potential and bargains with these other tld's. We will see more creative names in the future as businesses look for names to use as the dot com's dry up further. I recently registered Organic.gd (Organic Goods) which is going to be a new fashion label selling organic made clothing & accessories....
If you are looking to build a site with it then you would benefit from the name irrespective of the tld. Orangegreen I actually find more .coms and other tlds squatted and parked and they are the real spammy ones.
Squatted, lol. It's called being a domainer. I think he/she's looking to purchase for investment, not for development from the OP.
exactly,i want buy for investment. somebody here have a list of the country extensions considered not sooo bad and that dont need a trademark? thanks everybody for the answer
It does depend on the keyword, and the buyer. Anything from $xx to $x,xxx. $xx,xxx is impossible I think. I have refinance.cx and refinance.lu. Very strong keyword with crap extensions. Not worth much to me... If you want to buy them for reg fee, let me know
Good ccTLDs: .**.uk, .***.au, .tv. OK ccTLDs: .in, .us, .nl, .se, .nu, .ws. Bad ccTLDs: .tk, .vg, .ms, .ru, .ro, .hk, .cn.
I 2nd what htmlindex has said. Unless it's a terribly strong keyword, don't bother getting yourself overly excited about it. dot coms and dot nets are still the best followed by the rest.
