    For the last few weeks now, I have designed, coded, optimized and written for my new site, www.streetword.net

    I have been using the Co-op network alot to get some backlinks in (MSN has picked up around 1200 which is impressive as I have a low weight compared to others I have read.

    Have you got any thought on how I could improve it (all aspects of the site). I have done basic SEO;

    • used mod_rewrite (I am still a noob at that but I managed to get it working)
    • Kept the page size as small as posible
    • Tried to keep it validated but I orginally used a web based text editor which I soon figured made terrible html so I now use dreamweaver to make the html then submit it.
    • use <h1> tags etc.

    Any comments on ad placement? improvements, what you liked and didn't like and an overall score would be greatly appreciated. (I will give you some green ;) for any comments)

    Thanks,
    greg

    1. More content, especially on the home.
    2. Target broader keywords (health and fitness is hard to target) - try making title tags contain more useful keywords.
    3. Use amazon or CJ and provide books etc.
    4. more consideration for the visitor would be good - images etc.
