streaming video music from other videomusic site

    Hello

    There are many videomusic site offer video music code to put in myspace,xanga etc..My question is if i took the code and put in my site is that illegal?

    What exactly are you talking about? Some of the code is just a reference to another site that will embed a player on your page. It may be fully permissible and used to drive traffic and advertising.

    If they provide you the codes to embed the music video to your site, they are giving you the full rights to do just that. It is thus not illegal.

    However, it may be illegal to change the code, video or claim the video as yours. If in doubt, check the TOS or AUP.

    I put these in my website:
    I also contact my host and they told me as long as i don't stream any music in my server then i am okay...but i am not sure that why i am here :)
