Streaming Live Scores to My Site?

Hi all,

I'm thinking of setting up a few sports sites with live and up-to-date scores from various sports around the world. I'm sure you've seen many of these sites out there. My question is, how do they collect that information, I very much doubt that each site has somebody updating things as they happen, more like there is a program running which collects data from one place. I would like to know how to do this and where I can be getting such data to stream through my site.

All suggestions welcome (I've already googled it!).

Ahh very good. I've been looking at this one http://www.livescore.in/free-livescore/ here you can get multiple sports too.
