Streaming from tv/laptop on to a website?

    HI,

    I just was wondering if anyone knows how this can be done?

    I dont want to stream anything illegal like movies for example but i am interested to know how something which maybe on your laptop or tv can be streamed on to a website?

    I got example here of a site http://www.fatbrummie.com/

    Any ideas?

    If it's something on your laptop, you can stream the content with a streaming server, or even set up the laptop as a server. If it's tv content, you have to look at the tv as a client. To stream the content, you need to grab the content from the server which, in this case, might be a cable provider. There are tv boxes that connect to a cable source and output the signal via usb. That might be what you're looking for.

    How can it be put on to a website at end, like would any script be able to do it and then to input it on to a website?

    I know websites like justin and ustream are about but there not too reliable.
