Hi, How do I put links to streaming audio (short clips like 40 seconds, one minute etc.) on a webpage? I did it the past. In fact they are still operating. I used an old realaudio process. But i don't remember how I did it. is there anything new I should know? thanks, Frank
I use a flash applet nowadays for my stream. Do a google search for "FLASH MP3 Player" It doesnt require any special video player or anything, just adobe flash to be installed and thats pretty much installed on 90% of the browsers in the world today.
Thanks Frumph, I probably want to avoid Flash. I need 100% accessibility, especially since many users are out of US and may be slightly behind the applications curve. I did it with html streaming with Real Audio in the past and would do it again but I can't see where to start in Real Player. I had to generate .rm files but I don't know how to do it anymore. Or can it be done with another application? Itunes? thanks, Frank
May be a silly question but don't you need to download RealPlayer to play Real Audio files? If so, would'nt you still come across the same application barrier?
