    Hi All,
Im hoping i have posted this in the right category, i was considering posting it in the Multimedia category but i felt it was more appropriate in here!

Ok here is the question, or questions should i say!
I am working with a large online radio station, currently they have 4 studios that are streaming live audio 24/7. At the moment the studios are streaming both audio and have a webcam streaming visual so the visitors can see the people in the studio etc.

Currently the site is using Windows Media Encoder to streaming the Audio and Visual out onto the net and is being ran from a windows server.

Is there anyway we can have a Flash Media player that can streaming both the audio and visual side of things from the website? I am concerned you see as some visitors may not have windows media player installed that would then stop them from viewing the stream.

The other option is that we use ShoutCast to stream the Audio and Visual, and to be honest this is what i would prefer! So could the same apply by having a flash player that streams audio and visual via ShoutCast?

I am really open for suggestions here, or recommendations on how i could achieve the above!

Your comments and feedback would be great!

    Regards
    Tom

hmm, i'm working on an application that meets your requirements. Although it is a standalone application. It doesn't use any flash players or need a webbrowser client.

When i'm ready to release my application i'll pm you if you want :)
