I have placed every keywords related to my real estate site in google adwords and get about 8000 clicks a day currently. I want to increase them to 10000 somehow, can anyone provide me some inputs as to how should i go about it. Finding new keywords is a major problem for me, should i start using unrealted keywords and run them on google content network only.
Of course not... this will ALSO be a waste of time/money. Plus... when you get low CTR from the content network.... this will weaken the 'histroy' of your account. and will affect other Adgroups. My 2 cents! Tim
I agree, usually unrelated keywords would definately be a waste of time. I would suggest working on improving the performance of the current keywords, for example ensuring you are using exact matching options and relevant ad text/landing pages. Plus to increase the traffic further maybe try increasing the bids for cost-effective keywords?
Split test ads. Use action words. Entice the person to click the ad. What are you offering them that the other ads don't? One word can change your CTR by a lot. You can also increase your CTR by upping your bid price a little. Try a 10% increase and create 2 new ads and see what happens after a couple days. I'd also invest in Axandra's eBook "Successful Advertising with Google Adwords". They have about 6-8 pages worth of "Powerful Expressions that Sell More". Examples are: 10 reasons for ___! Available immediately Everything you need! Dreams come true! Limited Availability No ____, no problem Personal consultation Quality guarantee and so on. These phrases, and many many others, have been used in Adwords and were proven to increase CTR. Try it out. And you can also change your landing page to add more keyword-rich content, or make the site more user-friendly. This will eventually drop your bid prices down, even if you raise your max bid by 10% as I said before. Good luck!
i also want to adv with google ad but i don't know that i can choose the good keyword for my site? and pay ?$ for it? anyone can talk to me? thanks
I recently talked with a adwords representative and he told me that running your ad on google content network for semi-related keywords should bring you good clicks. I told him my main motive was to increase clicks. He told me to make the ad as targetted as possible so as to avoid irelevant clicks on my ad. I personally think this should work since you don't have to make a keyword active in content and you can set the minimum required bid for such keywords, thus ensuring you don't pay much and at the same time get impressions.
No it won't. From the bottom of each and every ad group screen in AdWords: If you just need more clicks and don't care about conversions or any other metric once the visitor reaches the site you're promoting you could try using the dynamic keyword for the ad title in the content network - I've found that helps bring more clicks in most cases. Also, try and keep your bid at a sufficient level to keep your average content postion above 4. Positions 1 - 4 tend to get a lot more impressions and as a result usually get more clicks as well.
Do take note... Write good ads and it really doesn't matter if you are at the bottom of the page. With a good ads that is relavance... more ppl will click on it and Google will increase your quality such tt you will slowly climb up the position without increasing your bid. Is it better to bid at lower price and slowly rise up, or immediately get good rank and having a bad ad tt no one click on, causing CPC more and more expensive to remain in tt rank?
My first thoughts would be to take your campaign and duplicate the success at another ppc such as yahoo or msn. This does not always work...as the demographics are different, also Yahoo has a minimum of .10 so if you are getting a majority of your traffic for less than ten cents you would have to gauge if you can be profitable. I always look to multiply my successful adwords campaigns with other ppc's. When it works out it is a beautiful sight to behold. You will want to make sure you have good tracking in place so you know what conversions are coming from what PPC. Also...You can set up a campaign at Yahoo yourself...or you can pay $199 and have a Yahoo rep set it up for you, complete with a multipage report and recommendations for your campaign...this may also give you more "keyword ideas" for your Adwords campaign. Take Care, Travis
Instead of looking for more keywords you should focus on designing an attractive ad with a very catchy header. If you just write Ad titles like - Real Estate Delhi, Real Estate India; there is nothing unusual than what your other competitors are doing. So design catchy headers like - Looking For Dream Home? Work with your content writer.
