1. Directories? No, a waste of time.
2. Social Bookmarking is OK, including for anywhere you have backlinks. Even better, throw social media into the mix.
3. Articles really depends upon your strategy, which you don't mention.
4. Do you mean spam forums directly to your money site?

If you're not sure about strategy, start reading some of the good SEO blogs and doing more research as you learn. You'll then formulate a good strategy suitable for your site.

 

Focus on high quality backlinks and make sure your back linking profile is diverse. Why not approach blog owners or webmasters within your niche and offer high quality blog posts in exchange for a backlink?

Article submission,Directory submission etc is best strategy in SEO.I am using dofollow article quality sites,they are fruitful to my keywords.

just build links natural and you will see cool results. only from niche sites, best tactic scan your competitors sites and see why they are ranking.then copy their strategy, me I am using seomoz site explorer for this, is minimum 100 per month if you can afford

2- off page

Any strategy regarding SEO will only work if the content on the site is of good quality and unique

 

Do on page optimization and off page optimization seo. You can do off optimization by doing article submission, directory submission, social media optimization, social bookmarking, forum posting, etc.

 

Make sure Do some Anchor text and increase your backlinks, after that write a article about you niche with Niche keyword, after that Published on web 2.0 You'll get a good amounts of traffics ;d

 

Do good on page seo with your keywords when you write your content, and then try and get backlinks from similar sites in your niche. An of course social media, because Google is using it now as one factor in ranking sites.
